Veggie Wars
The other night while helping me prepare dinner, Mr Music came out with one of his distinctly male deep questions of life. I present it here for your opinions, rather than in a blogpoll, so you can give fully developed answers.
"If a beet and a squash fought, who do you think would win? Would the squash get beat or would the beet get squashed?"

I think squashing trumps it. If you are squashed, how can you have the strength or the...arms....to beat anyone?
Sadly enough the fight already happened. I heard about it from Mr. Potato Head who was there.
Mr. Artichoke screamed, "Just choke him." The Collard Greens chimed in, "Yeah! Grab him at the collar and choke 'im 'til he turns green!"
Asparagus shouted some disparaging comments, which I will not repeat.
Miss Carrot walked away 'cause she didn't care at all who won.
Rev. Lettuce said, "Can't we all get along? Brothers and sisters, let us pursue peace."
The Peas said, "Hey we don't want anyone pursuing us. Let's get along back to the pod where it was safe."
Mr. Pickle was in quite a pickle, torn between rooting for his two good friends.
Miss Rhubard said it was all quite a rhubarb.
Then someone sprayed some pepper spray.
That's all Mr. Potato Head knew, since the spray went in his eyes and he ran away to wash it out.
Hopefully someone out there knows the rest of the story.
